Nighttime skincare routine for glowing skin – Just three products!

My current nighttime skincare routine:

Step One

If I wore any sort of makeup that day I start by removing my makeup. I use the Cliganic Jojoba oil. It’s a great multi-use product and I’m on my second bottle. I use it in my hair too (mixed with Rosemary oil of course). To remove my makeup, I put a few drops on a cotton pad and swipe it all over my face.

Step Two

Next, I use my Tatcha cleanser. This really makes my skin feel refreshed and clean after just one cleanse! I know everyone seems to be double cleansing now a day but I don’t wear much makeup to have to cleanse that much. Also trends are ever changing and in a few years we may be get ting told to triple cleanse!;P but to each their own if double cleansing is part of your current routine and works for you!

Step Three

My final step is rosehip oil. I first heard of rosehip oil from super model, Miranda Kerr. Her skin is gorgeous and she supposedly uses rosehip oil every night. So when I heard this I too started using it EVERY NIGHT. I was too naive back then to think that celebrities are like you and me. Will slathering olive oil on your face keep you young? Tell us the truth, J.Lo!

Silly me, I didn’t know celebrities have access to so many beauty treatments to keep their skin looking youthful and glowing $$$$. But I have to say, I have noticed a difference in my skin when I don’t use it. It feels so dull! So I’ll have to give it to Miranda Kerr for the life changing recommendation that has saved me a lot on night creams. And there are so many benefits to rosehip oil – just ask WebMD. ;P It’s worth mentioning that I do enjoy various night creams every now and then, but I always come back to this!

Disclaimer:

If you are pregnant, I advise you ask your doctor if it’s ok to use since there are retinoids in it. As you know, retinol is a no no during pregnancy. Although the internet says the retinoids in Rosehip oil are naturally occurring, it’s best to double check with a professional!

Happy glowing! ❤

XoXo,

Always Blushing

About Me

Why should you care about what I think about makeup? Why should you take my recommendations? Once upon a time I lived for makeup. I bought so much, swatched anything worth swatching. I’ve tried so much and bought so much. I was a Sephora makeup junkie.  Although my current life is much different than ‘once upon a time’ was –  being a new mother, working from home since Covid hit so not wearing makeup for years, not having much time to myself and  being on a budget, my love of makeup remains.  My makeup collection is still quite large compared to the everyday Jeynthi, but my everyday makeup routine can be done in less than 5 minutes, all with products I love!  If you can relate, follow along. I don’t intend to make it complicated.

Below are some of my makeup stats!
